Hello, I'm Marc and I'm 31.
Just seeing what's what on this site. It's hard to fill in the "Intent" section at the top, I just want some company and dates at first; fun with no heavy stuff straight away then see how things go, how it should be!
I have recently relocated back to my hometown Bolton after 7 years in Manchester though I still work and spend a lot of time in the city centre. I now live in my own place, inside an old church!
In my spare time I like socialising with my friends, going to and watching football, reading, writing my own stuff (finally about to finish a book after years of toil) and listening to music; I like a broad range of sounds and can put up with virtually any genre. I've gone over time through being into hardcoremetalcore, trance & progressive and indieManchester stuff - now I enjoy a mix of all the above and more. In recent years I'm as equally likely to have been sighted with glowsticks, in a slam pit or lost in the smoke of South with the rest of the Boon Army!
I have a second job at Manchester Arena, so being able to stand many genres of music has become essential...
I'm a Bolton Wanderers fan; I watch them home and away all over the country but I'm not an a***hole about it, it's just what I like doing and gives me an excuse to travel about...
Travelling is a big passion for me, I love chatting about where I've been, where I'd like to go and hearing other people's stories too. I have backpacked alone or visited on holiday lots of places in Europe; Amsterdam, Berlin (x7, my favourite place on earth), Munich, Dusseldorf, Dortmund, Krakow, Vienna, Prague, Belgrade, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Budapest, Madrid, Valencia... not forgetting the likes of Ibiza, Benidorm and Magaluf too!
Also been to New York, Washington DC and Barbados which I really enjoyed and would like to travel further afield in future.
I don't have a specific "type" of girl that I'm interested in, just looking for someone I can connect with and look forward to seeing and spending time with will do for me.
