Ok then, a little about me...... I'm a lab scientist, I get to play around with dangerous chemicals, dry ice and liquid nitrogen all day. So much fun..........but inevitably have to perform some serious grown up work too. I play guitar, sing and dabble in a little songwriting. I've always enjoyed playing in bands and looking to start up a new covers band to get back out playing in pubs at the weekend. Sunday night is quiz night down the local and I try not to miss it. It's nice catching up with the guys in the team. I have a Husky Collie cross called Dex. He's inherited the best (YAY :-)) and worst ( yaaaay :-) traits of both breeds. He's super cool, super crazy and super lovable. We both like long walks and most of the time, he takes me. |

I am sociable and friendly, I like to go to the pub and play pool, or sit down with a group of friends and chat and have a laugh. I like heavy metal music, horror and science fiction films and tv and books. This doesn't mean that I don't listen to, or watch other genres!! but I do stick to my guns on reading material lol I'm afraid that I do smoke and drink though so if you are against these things please don't bother about contacting me because I'm not about to stop just because it doesn't fit in with someone else's way of life. Where to start ? Single parent to 4 older children adults, I work as a project manager @ a university and spend most of my time indoors working from home and watching movies, hence dont socialise much. I have been retired for 15 years and enjoy my life completely. I am missing a person to share things with and to socialise with. I love dancing and go at least twice a week. I also enjoy eating out and the cinema. I went to the Outdoor Cinema and also the Battle Proms this summer which were great fun.
