I am an outgoing person and get on well with people. I am looking for someone as a companion who interests me, and also finds me interesting. My main interests are travelling, and showing my Border Terrier called Ben. I also like gardening. I am a consistent traveller, and have been as far afield as Japan, Australia and South Africa. So far this year I have been to Puglia in Italy, I am particularly fond of the Balkans. I am fond of other countries cuisines, though I am quite a competent cook myself. I like visiting art galleries and museums, but prefer the treasures of small galleries than say the Louvre or Prado. I have a small collection of paintings and prints. I am a keen photographer, and find foreign travel helps with this. I live by myself in a five bedroom 19th Century house in a small village in East Lothian.
