I like long lunches that are as much about conversation as the food, going to the cinema as well as having a game of dominoes or cards with a cup of tea. I also enjoy days out at the coast or even sitting in the garden on a sunny afternoon. The company is more important than the activity. Ester Rantzen said after she lost her husband that it is easy to find someone to do something with but hard to find someone to do nothing with. I am looking for that someone who it is easy to do nothing with. I have some mobility issues but am very independent and drive. I retired from work with the NHS in December 2022 but now volunteer 2 days a week at my local hospital. I also enjoy going out with my girlfriends and having weekends away with them. I have been told that I have a good sense of humour and do like to have a laugh and giggle.
