I'm a thirty year old former farmer in the process of undergoing something of a career change. I live on board my own 'starship', the narrow boat 'Willow' with my two border collies, Max and Tilly on the Bridgewater canal which runs south out of Manchester city centre. As much as i enjoy a night in with some good trek and good company, I like to make sure I get together with my friends and family each time I get the boat up to the city centre.
