I love new and unexpected experiences, particularly involving sound and light. Playing music with others is a particular joy: I have played folk mandolin for years and am learning gypsy jazz guitar currently, though I am really bass player (double and electric). I enjoy fixing things (I've already mentioned the vintage vehicles) and volunteer whenever I can at repair cafes.
