I love to travel (who doesn't, right?) but am more interested in gaining cultural insights than seeing touristy things. I lived in Japan for 3 years and have visited a fair few places but there are still a lot more I'd like to see. By nature I'm pretty easygoing and calm, a natural listener rather than speaker but love a good conversation on interesting topics and enjoy learning from others on unfamiliar topics. I like to be active and try new things, I especially love skiing and snowboarding but am also content to stay in and watch a movie or other quieter activities. I like to be challenged and explore new ways of thinking so would welcome meeting someone from a different cultural background to myself and anyone who knows their own mind and what they want from life.
