‘Throughout life, my main interest has been in the
outdoors. Growing up and working on a farm has given me
many practical skills that I thoroughly enjoy. To my
great pleasure, I found the job of my dreams working on
a farm with people with learning disabilities. Having
trained as a nurse and working in the care sector for a
number of years, I was very lucky in finding this
combination. I loved every second of the time I spent
working with the people on the farm but unfortunately
had to leave due to management issues that I didn't feel
were ethically correct. Currently, I am looking for a
piece of land, ideally somewhere with a woodland area to
create my own homeincome and somewhere I can spend
quality time with my eighteen year old daughter who is a
very important part of my life. I have been fortunate
enough to spend some time in Portugal, living there for
months at a time over a period of ten years. It has been
a regret that I haven't travelled as much as I would
have liked to, however this is something that I would
love to do in my later life. I am hoping to meet
someone who is on the same wavelength; someone who is up
for a laugh, good conversation and who is able to relax
and enjoy life with me. if it turns into a relationship,
then its a bonus!’
