I've worked in the Corporate world for a long time, in Training & Management but feel a calling to do something outdoors & with my hands & around animals. It may be a mid-life thing, or the realisation that life is too short to stay on the hamster wheel longer than you have to! I've traveled quite a bit - and enjoy culture & history and cannot sit still for long! I'd like to see more of South America, having traveled to Columbia and Costa Rica, however, my ambition would be to have a small-holding. Looking to meet someone that would enjoy that way of life.
I currently live in Gloucestershire, but the house is almost sold and i'm moving to West Yorkshire (somewhere in that vicinity) to be closer to my daughter. I've just taken on a Cockapoo puppy, so I'm a tad sleep deprived and missing a long walk - as her little legs aren't up to anything strenuous yet! and am weathering the storm that is 'puppydom'.
I really enjoy cooking - but since lock-down, I haven't been doing any entertaining :( Which I miss.
Personality wise - I am a naturally 'warm' person. As I mentioned, I am a Trainer by trade and am an ENFP! (
Go look it up, if you are interested). Fairly extroverted, people orientated, quite intuitive, driven by values and i have to rein in my scatty (spontaneous) side. If that sounds like a night-mare to you, then scroll on x. Despite my 'nice' side, I don't suffer fools and can detect an 'ingenuine' within a few sentences - no game-playing here.
