Ladies, I am re-writing my blurb 'cos it was too long-winded. I do not meet smokers! In 22 years with the RAF, I travelled a great deal! I have since visited my daughter in Australia 5 times and toured there in a campervan! I've visited the USA several times, mostly to visit my 2nd ex's family. However the last time, my late Fiancée and I, drove Route 66 from L.A. to Chicago, in an American RV! Then took in Memphis and the Smokies and through to Boston for the flight home. So, having lost my 'pot' in the 2008 financial mess, | now explore the U.K. in a Transit bus I'm converting into a campervan. I'm now living in a self-contained flat in Sheltered Accommodation in Swindon close to the rest of my family and after three years of being on my own, I feel that I am ready for the next chapter in my life. Even at my age! Who wants carpet slippers in front of the T.V. when there's still much to be seen in our wonderful homeland? I'd rather spend one or two nights on the road exploring! Seriously Ladies, if you don't live in the South-West, how can we meet to chat about this & that in a day? Up-Date, Up-date! The camper has failed to make the grade for the MOT. The 'Good Fairy' has taken pity on me. I've found a suitable car so I will be back on the road next week ready to go exploring and seeking new adventures. It's not a camper, but it is a big estate car!
