I am seeking a true mature companion with whom I can enjoy an eclectic mix social activities. I love my garden and get regular help from red squirrels, badgers and foxes some of whom have become my friends! I have recently started writing short stories for pleasure and, as you might have guessed, I am an angler who catches fish for the table (occasionally), from my own boat. I have been involved with politics and have had careers as an orthopaedic technician and in community education, lecturing and consultancy, working in many parts of the country and (as a young man) in East Africa as a volunteer. I am well travelled but not as mobile as I once was, the curse of 'Anno Domini.' My friend and companion will possess immense patience and tenacity and personal warmth as well as a VGSOH! She may also learn to like me a bit and in return I will honour and respect her, and who knows what else.
