Hi, I've lived on the fringes of the Lake District for many years but still enjoy visiting new places there.I've had several different careers and am at present semi-retired.One of my main interests is music and I still play in a band. I also try to see other live bands whenever I can.I enjoy writing and actually had abook published last year. I also like antiques, collecting, cooking, photography, entertaining and visits to National Trust properties. I enjoy travelling and visited most European countris, parts of Africa and further afield. I'm very practical and taught various practical skills when I was a teacher. I have several grandsons but was sadly widowed earlier this year.
