I work at Nolans seafood factory in Tullos in south Aberdeen. The fish comes in from the east coast. There are supervisors in white jackets. There is a mixture of people-English (me!), Scottish, Polish, Bulgarians, Africans, Indians. They are all friends.

I am interested in Geography-studying weather and climate, natural hazards, other parts of the world like the polar regions. I have done The Frozen Planet course at the Open University. I am interested in astronomy-studying other planets. I like Science fiction films about time travel. When I was a kid I was mad about Back to the Future. I have bought more time travel films about people who travel back to the past than about people who travel forward to the future. This is because it is easier to make films about people who travel back to the past to events in history than people who travel forward to the future to events that haven't happened yet. So there are more of former than latter. My favourite film is Back to the Future. When the doc was in the DeLorean and he said-the red clock tells you when you were, the yellow clock tells you when you are, the green clock tells you when you're going to. And when Marty said-where are we-when are we?
I love travel. I have travelled all over the UK on coach trips. When I was younger I used to go on National Express coaches everywhere around the country-in the days before 2003 when Megabus came along. The first place I went to on an overnight coach was Sheffield. I went to Penzance a few times on trips. I went to St.Marys church there. I was also there when the total eclipse happened on Wednesday 11th August 1999. The headline on the front of the TV magazine the week before that was-Total eclipse of the heart.
I have travelled all over Scotland before. I have been on the bus from Aberdeen to Glasgow which is 3 hours. I have then been on the bus from Glasgow to Oban which is another 3 hours. I have stayed at the Scottish hostel association with the nice carpet and the lamps. I have then been on the ferry from Oban to Barra which is 5 hours. I have been to Peterhead and Fraserburgh-where a lot of the fish comes from. I will one day go on the ferry from Aberdeen to Shetland which is 12 hours, which is where a lot of the fish comes from.
I have been to Belgium, Germany, Tenerife and Philadelphia for friends wedding. I also went to New York. I would like to go back to the United States another day-maybe a different part. I love photography-the 35mm camera kind. I have taken photos of sunsets on the beach in Ayr.
I go to the biggest church in Aberdeen-Gilcomston church. What draws me to a church? Love and fellowship. To know the bible as the historical record of God's word. To run the race that is set before us. To live a life on the earth that will make it a better place for God by having been in it. To reach out in love to the unreached through evangelism and prayer. Better is one day in your courts, oh Lord, than thousands elsewhere.
