The gentle sweet sound,
Of the pitter patter,
Of rain on the tin roof..
The sweet sound of rain,
For I will never complain..
As I dream of all the nights,
That we hold each other tight..
Through out the rainy night..
As the lightning will flash,
And the thunder will roar..
We will make sure to lock the door..
As our gentle embrace succumbs us within,
As we discover new ways for our life to begin..
Remembering sweet rain on the roof above,
Has helped to define our love..
The wash of the air smells so new,
As it helps to define the morning dew..
And the sweet scent of me and you,
Keeps me with thoughts of you,
The whole day through!!
