Who and what am I as a person? Physically, I''m 6'' tall, 190 lbs., medium to slightly slender build. Ethnically, I''m a sliver (of Scottish) less than 12 Irish, 14 Danish, 14 French-Native American that I know of. I have my Danish grandfather''s build, and a slightly dark skin tone from the Native American. I''ve been told that I look French, Italian, Greek, and like Richard Gere. I have dark brown eyes that look deeply into yours, and dark brown hair to match. I dress very youthfully and casually most of the time, but look killer is a suit.
Personality-wise, I''m very open-minded alternative, and non-traditional. I''m intelligent, conversational, sensitive, and a real listener, I''m mellow but energetic, artistic and techno. I''ve been trained very well in the art of shopping, and love to find great things in thrift stores. I love velvet, satin and silk. I buy clothes for the woman in my life without her being there, and not only do they fit, but they look fantastic on her. I love getting someone special little gifts finds. I love to cook for them. I''m both outdoorsy and indoorsy. I love to drive my classic sports-sedan anywhere with short notice. I can still pull "all-nighters." I''m passionate, romantic, intense, handsome, and really care about the woman I''m with.
I''ve come to realize that I''m only compatible with women who are still full of adventure, optimism, energy, and spirit like me. That ends-up meaning women generally younger that their mid-30''s. It was actually two women, one 26, the other 56, who knew me well enough to advise me that I needed to be with much younger women. The 56 year-old told me: "Michael, it''s never about age, it''s about compatibility. So, I started looking...and had some experiences that convinced me that my "advisors" had something.
I''ve found that the younger women I''ve been with have a fre important things in common, that would cause them to desire a relationship with a somewhat older man (I''m 47 as of last Dec.): First, they were all extermely intelligent, very unique, independent, and made-up their own minds about things. They''d all had favorable experiences with men older than themselves.
