I am a wanderer through words, an avid reader of dark and timeless tales. My being has been enriched by the Russian greats Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky, and Bulgakov. French and British literature, like those by Victor Hugo and Alexandre Dumas, pull me into worlds of tragic beauty, while the characters of Maeve Binchy and Agatha Christie act as a balm for the soul.
Science fiction and fantasy, particularly Orson Scott Card and Robin Hobb (Realm of the Elderlings), are my sanctuaries as well.
I write as the mood strikes be it short stories, poems, fleeting thoughts. My narrative exists in a shadowy place, like the original fairy tales, before they were softened. A world where darkness persists, but with a light somewhere... I hope.
Though if you find it, do let me know—I’ve been wandering in the dark for a while, and suspect it’s the best way to avoid stepping into Tartarus.
