My interests include cooking, baking , sailing and camping afloat on my 25 foot trailer sailer mainly on Lake Rotoiti near Rotorua. I also play bass guitar and have played in Rock, Jazz, Country and Blues Bands. So music has been a big part of my life. I am also a competent DIY guy and can fix most things. I enjoy wood work and woodturning. |

I am a retired High School Teacher and also a Widower. My wife was a midwife and in her mid 30s she was diagnosed with a brain tumour. After a 25 year bumpy journey she died nearly 9 years ago. We have 3 boys who have done very well. Better than their father at the same school. They all got honours degrees. The oldest in Australia and the youngest in Mount Maunganui bot have lovely daughters followed by sons. So I have 4 grandchildren so far. My No 2 son works in England and he and his French wife have high powered jobs in the Motor Industry and do not have time yet to think of kids. |
