I've been lucky to spend most of my career doing things that I like. I started in comic book publishing and became a freelance writer and editor writing about geek culture for major magazines, then segued into other pop culture products as a Brand Manager for many years. Finally, I opened an online retail business selling pop culture themed products as a hobby. That hobby became my full time career about 8 years ago when the recession hit. From Star Trek and Star Wars, to superheroes, and Game of Thrones, I've sold, marketed, or manufactured 'stuff' and I've rarely had a day where I dreaded going to work.
