I've been lucky enough to spend most of my career doing things that I like. I began my career in comic book publishing and segued into other pop culture products as a Brand Manager. I spend a decade, writing about geek culture for many major magazines, and opened an online retail business selling pop culture themed products as a hobby. That hobby became my full time career about 8 years ago when the recession hit. From Star Trek and Star Wars, to superheroes, and Game of Thrones, I've sold, marketed, or manufactured 'stuff' and I've rarely had a day where I dreaded going to work.
