Concerning Mycology.... So many ladies on here looking for a "fun guy." Why the obsession with mushrooms!?!?

So, is David Icke a nutter? Good day to you all. Well, this is my first diary entry ..... so here goes. Days ago had a fairly abrupt short message from a lady in response to something on my profile, where I've said I was an admirer of fellow Isle of Wighter David Icke. Said person wrote in their message to me that even Mr Icke's daughter finds her father's views embarrassing. Now, regardless if that's true or not, I know full well in Davids international speaking tours, his two sons Gareth and Jamie Icke help organise, and greatly support, their father in his endevours. Having pointed this out to my brief messenger on here, I've never heard back from them again. In Space No One Can Here You Scream.... Just finished reading the novelisation of Ridley Scott's new film Alien: Covenant. Really enjoyed it. Quite a page turner I found after the slow beginning, with the requisite foreboding after the reconnaissance crew landed on the planet, but saw the ending coming, so no surprise there. Haven't seen the movie yet; speaking to those who have, it generally gets a definite thumbs down, so thought I would go at it differently and read the book first. Anyone else seen this film recently? If so, what did you think?

RIP Jim Marrs (Dec 5th 1943 - Aug 2nd 2017) Just found out that acclaimed american investigative journalist Jim Marrs has sadly died on Wednesday. He passed away after an illness. Jim was a veteran conspiracy theorist from another age. Long before the internet he was investigating UFOs, secret government activities and hidden technology. He wrote several conspiratorial classics such as 'Crossfire- The Plot That Killed Kennedy' that inspired Oliver Stone's movie 'JFK.' He has written a dozen other books on all kinds of UFO/conspiracy/paranormal matters. He did numerous lectures and radio interviews. With his big white beard and cowboy hat he was an unmistakable sight at conferences. Being a conspiracy researcher myself, he will be missed.... and this deceptive world is a little worse for his passing!
