I'm new on here, so just finding my way around the site.
Just to tell you a little about myself. I have been widowed for **** years now, and being very sociable, thought this would be a good way of getting to know new people, and find someone to chat with initially, then see how it goes!
I am lucky to have family and friends, and enjoy spending time with them. I like meeting up for coffee and a chat, or a meal and nice glass of wine.
I'm a retired teacher, so am enjoying a more relaxed lifestyle, and the time to persue my varied interests, which range from music, ( I have eclectic tastes,) theatre, and travelling. I have an extensive bucket list, which seems to get ever longer, and love the buzz of finding somewhere new to visit. I particularly enjoy regular city breaks, and Bruges is next on the list of must see places.
I love Paris, for culture, sightseeing and food. I also enjoy days out, so many great places to visit.... cities, coast, countryside..... especially when the experience is shared.
I also like to get outdoors, and top destination for walking must be The Lakes, a very special place for me.
Sometimes though, it's nice to be at home, listen to music, watch a film, and just relax!
I'm told I'm warm, friendly and caring, and would like to meet someone genuine, with similar qualities.
