Singles Holidays Thank you to everybody who answered my question about singles holidays. lots of good stuff, don't want to write a novel, but singles holidays are quite expensive. However as I now know, David Urquhart do some holidays, in the UK and abroad with no single supplement. Worth looking into I would have thought. |

going on holiday on your own I thought about going away on holiday with a travel company, but the single room supplement meant the cost of holiday would be about a third again. I will have a bit of a re-think. I wonder if those specialist single holidays are not such a rip off. Has anyone been on one? |

Carry On Films Well it seems people do read diaries after all. I am encouraged to write another. Between the socialising, working in the garden and shopping, I will admit to watching the old Carry On films. I am finding it difficult to believe they were acceptable at the time. Never get away with that level of sexist behaviour today. What do you think? |

So far away from me As the Dire Straights song goes. I have met lots of lovely ladies on here, but they all live a very long way from Greater London. There is a feeling amongst some Londoners that this is the centre of the universe, clearly something to review. Well it is if they try internet dating anyway. I wonder if people from other areas feel the same way. |
