What was the oddest wedding you've ever been to? Perhaps the best man gave a face-slappingly awful speech, so bad the crickets didn't even want to chirp they were cringing that much? Or maybe one of the bridesmaids had a wee bit too much to drink and ended up having a swim in the centre-piece fountain? Well that's not all that strange when you consider this bunch!

Xie Qiyun was very much the blushing bride in white, over 600ft and 200 lbs of it that is! She now holds the world record for the longest bridal dress train after her wedding in Guangzhou, China in 2007.

Imagine walking into a wedding to be greeted with a sea of red roses, this is exactly what Xiao Wang made happen for his bride by spending a year's wages on 99,999 red roses which he adorned over absolutely everything including their wedding car.

A wedding in a morgue sounds entirely morbid but actually this is a very touching story of love. Kevin Lavelle was brutally murdered by a gang of yobs as he returned home from working to raise enough money to marry his fiancee Michelle. Despite his untimely death, Michelle was determined to marry Kevin and fulfil his wish to be her husband. She organised a wedding within the morgue where Kevin's body was and stood next to an open coffin where he lay as she said her vows. Rings were placed on each of their hands and they were legally wed. Heartbreakingly, a few days after his wedding, his funeral took place.
