I’m an ugly man but people use to call me cowboy. Sad, but true. My neighbors like me. They let me pet their dogs, and watch their kids, and stop to talk across the backyard fences. I’m the single guy who brings a huge tub of commercial potato salad to the potluck, because no one should eat my cooking. Old ladies ask me to fix their kitchen sinks, or stopped up toilets. Guys working on their cars ask me what I think. Other old men invite me to sit on the porch and listen to the ballgame.
