I'm 53, born and raised in WV. I earned two degrees from Ohio University. I was a teacher, and a former newspaper reporter (met 3 presidents). Did a stint as a war correspondent in South America. Also went to college in England for a while and travelled about Europe. I was a drummer for 40 years and saw most of the US along the way, so I am very passionate about music. I love seeing live performances -- jazz, rock, country. Spontaneous road trips to wherever are a blast with good tunes and great conversation. I don't judge women much by looks; a smart woman is better than an air-head, so that is what I seek. I read Hemingway, London and JFK (incredible writer) I love dogs and birds. Cats are OK. And my favorite meal is fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, cole slaw and corn bread. Ethnic cuisine is a draw between Indian and Thai. And I don't look bad in a suit.
