I joined the Marine Corps because I had a calling to serve and I've always wanted to be a Marine. I come from a Navy family. Fast forward to growing up in Southern California, I expierenced the Marine Corps. Watching assaults on Red Beach at Camp Pendleton, watching Cobras, Sea Knights, and Hueys flying over head. Listening to 11th Marines firing off their 155s etc. Enjoying the airshows at Miramar but most importantly meeting the docents at the Command Museum aboard MCRD San Diego.
