How would my best friend describe me? I'd hope that he'd say funny, charming, laughs a lot and likes making people laugh themselves (or happy, or just generally cheering them up). I'm a bit of an intellectual and will read anything within reach, but tend towards sci-fi or fantasy. Saying that, I have just finished re-reading Pride and Prejudice again , and Little Women is near the top of my list of books to read next, so I'm open to pretty much any topic.
What else? I like all the usual stuff (films, eating out, walksdrives to random places), and love anything to do with mythology. I can read and write basic heiroglyphs (taught myself from the Rosetta Stone when I worked near to the British Museum), and visiting Egypt to see the Valley of the Kings is high on my list of stuff to do next! I'm also a snowboarder when I get chance, and looking forward to heading to the alps when it gets cold enough again.
