I had a stroke about 8 years ago that left me with right-side hemiparesis and aphasia. I am married. My became my caregiver and, although I don't need her in that role as much any longer, she feels like she is stuck in that role. I still love her, and she still loves me, but we do not really have much in the way of physical affection. I'm looking for someone to eventually fill that role for me, as a friend, and as something more.
