Four years away from half a century, I think I need to step up the search for that all important soulmate.
That one in a thousand, who has the key to change my life. The kind of guy who puts the toilet seat down, rather than sleep with an ice cube (that is, my cold hands and bottom). The sort of chap who causes the muscles to relax in my shoulders with a mere look or glance. Someone who isn't afraid of honesty in a relationship, quite simply because I can't help myself, when it comes to telling the truth (though I'm much more diplomatic with it nowadays).
I'm a free spirit, with all the trappings of a settled life and fiercely independent. However, I enjoy cooking for two and thinking about someone other than myself. After working for this many years, I'm extremely easy-going and don't fuss over unnecessary things, after all, there are so many more things to do in life, than ruin it.
I love positive people, even if they're positive jokers. Funny things and happiness get me through the day and trust me I need it. I love comedy in all it's forms because I can be very pessimistic when I'm ready (I had my fingers in my ears throughout these recent elections and I learn more about the controlling elite everyday) but hey, who cares, when we've got Frasier, Live at the Apollo and Everybody loves Raymond. Does anyone know what happened to 'Third rock from the sun'?
Surprising though it may seem (following this small essay), I can be quiet too. I love long walks, absolutely anywhere and have a passion for driving. I'm in my element when alone and exactly the same with a partner (if that makes sense).
