I am loyal to my friends and relationships, I avoid loud and aggressive people. I am retired but still young at heart and I tend to lean towards making friends with people whom I can share laughter and good conversation. I was born in South Africa, spent 9 years in Hawaii, 6 years travelling around Europe and Israel on a kibbutz and am now settled in the UK where it is not easy to meet like minded friends. I love music, from classic to rock, soul, mowtown, country and western,40's, 50's, 60's and more, reading and animals, I enjoy swimming, motor boating and going out for dinner, a barbecue in the summer, movies and enjoying good company and conversation. I enjoy watching the sunrise, sunset and the moon and rugby, viewing comedy and drama films, going to vintage car shows, cooking, dancing, diy, gardening and also like a game of scrabble, monopoly, rummy and most board games especially in the winter months of rain in the UK. Holidays abroad are also fun. I am currently writing a tv series so I am never bored, especially in this time of the nasty virus pandemic.
