My friends have been nagging to get back out there, so here I am...
Trust and loyalty are big things for me. When I first meet someone I come across shy, but it's because I like to get to know people before I open up to them. Friends are important to me, by which I mean a small group of close friends rather than a large group of people I barely know.
I'm very much a work-aholic, a big coffe-holic and definitely a night-owl (early mornings should be illegal).
I love the smell of fresh rain and snow - especially snowball fights. I turn into an 8 year old when it all goes white.
Reading is my hobby - sci-fi and alternate history (David Weber and Harry Turtledove are my favorites). I also like watching films - action (such as the Jason Bourne series), sci-fi (I grew up with Star Wars and Star Trek) and rom-coms ('Definitely, Maybe' is my favorite).
I'm more of a homebody, but do like going out to the pub with my friends. I like holidays - loved it in Cyprus a few years ago - but I don't like planning them. Yes, I do enjoy staying home and watch moviestv, but I also like being out with my friends, be it at the pub to watch the football or at the casino when it's someone's birthday. Have been paintballing a couple of time and really enjoyed it. Don't mind hiking, abseiling and climbing (which considering I don't like heights just makes me strange).
Would like to find someone to help bring me out of my shell. Someone who enjoys some of the same things as me, though not necessarily all of them. Stay at home, eating in and watching something we both enjoy. Or going out with our friends to eat or just to the pub.
