About 8 years ago, I retired after almost 40 years in the aviation field. I spent 21 years in the USAF and another 17 with AA. During that time, I traveled all over the world, spent time in a Combat zone, and served as a pilot instructor at the flight academy in Ft worth Tx.
After I retired, I volunteered at a Methodist church as a maintenance assistant, and general gofer to set up rooms for meetings and rearrange chairs and tables for events.
More recently, I stay busy working around the house and yard. That keeps me pretty busy. On weekends I attend garage sales in the mid cities area. During the week, I follow the stock marked and occasionally invest when I feel lucky. Occasionally, I travel, but not so much now.
