I am a native Virginian, born in 1943 and lived the first 20 years in Roanoke, VA. Lived most of my adult life in Northern Virginia where, among other things, I taught school. Upon retiring, I moved to Virginia Beach . I enjoy challenging my mind with games such as scrabble, chess (not very good at this), word games, jeopardy, etc. I enjoy PBS television programs such as Mastercraft programs, Doc Martin, Poldark, and Downton Abby. Spend entirely too much time with news type programs. I would love to find a friend who might like those things but would also like to go fishing, or traveling, or gardening, or building something. My dog and my cat are my fur babies. My cat is not very social but my dog makes up for what she lacks. . I very seldom see them because they are always so busy. It would be nice to have someone to make and share good times.
