I love walking in our beautiful countryside and on the coast, enjoying nature, I have enjoyed boat trips to spot wildlife but wouldn't call myself a sailor. I went on a camping safari recently in Botswana which was amazing, we got so close to so many animals that I have only seen on the TV before. History interests me too and I have travelled to various very interesting places around the world which have fascinated me, one of the standouts being Pompeii. I read a lot, mainly biographies and non fiction, again a lot of history. I am not keen on violent novels or films although I have read Stephen King in the past. I like socialising and a good pub quiz but am not necessarily good at them. We all need to be challenged and I am not against trying new things and stepping out of my comfort zone.
