My passion at present is playing lawn bowls, growing vegetables for Show and the table and judging vegetables, fruit and flowers, mainly at local village Shows and at some larger ones.I like to dine out, but not so much now since my wife passed away after suffering from a brain tumour for the past four years. I now compensate by cooking and baking cakes, bread, jam doughnuts, make βproper foodβ with fresh ingredients, spotted dick and custard and jam roly poly amongst others.I only retired in 2019 well past retirement age because work was interfering with my hobbies and activities.
