He enlisted in the delayed entry program in February 2000 and graduated from recruit training MCRD San Diego, CA., on December 15, 2000. Following recruit training, PFC George reported to Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, FL., graduating as an Avionics Technician. He then completed the Hybrid Test Set Technician’s Course at NAS Lemoore, CA.
