Hi, I am a positive and happy person, I have a great bunch of girl friends but no man in my life. I''m not looking for a man to move in, but it would be nice to have a boyfriend, someone who I can text "good night" to, or "how was your day sweetheart"? Someone who wants to spend time just watching TV, sitting in the garden with a glass of wine, or eating in or out with friends.
I've had some knocks in life, but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and now live happily in my little bungalow. I laugh at silly jokes, enjoy chatting with friends, socialising, and the great outdoors, sunny days and rainy nights.
I should tell you, (as it will obviously put some people off) that 20 years ago I had a stroke which has left me with some mobility issues. I use a walking stick outside and for long distances I need a wheelchair. So if you're looking for someone to go for long hikes with, as much as I'd like to join you, I can't. Also, as a result, I don't drive any more, so it would be nice to meet someone who lives fairly local to me, there's no point in you contacting me if you live hundreds of miles away. If you can see beyond my disability, you’ll find a cheerful, warm and friendly lady, who has a lot of love to give.
I am attracted to a good sense of humour and intelligence in a man, one who can make me laugh without tickling me. I value honesty too and am not into mind games or deceit. Is that too much of a big ask?
I have a little cat, but she's no great conversationalist, in fact she behaves more like an ungrateful stray than a loving pet. I'm thinking of changing her name from Pixie to Satan, which is probably more fitting to her temperament.
