For the last 1-12 years, I have had more than 20 unexplained falls. While the vast majority of these falls weren't serious, two falls resulted in fractures of 2 bones in my neck (not requiring surgery but requiring 4 months of rigid fixation) and a fractured left elbow (requiring surgery). These falls are still unexplained and unable to be prevented. The risk of possible serious injury from another fall makes walking impractical. I have been in a wheelchair since November of 2021. While I have several other health problems, they are being effectively managed. I have reached the stage in my life when I'm going to share the rest of my years with one very special woman. I have made the decision to do so and that is why you're reading this. If you're just "exploring the possibilities" or want to meet someone to "see what happens," then I'm not the man for you. However, if you've made the exact same decision and are actively involved in starting this relationship, we need to talk. I can promise you a lifetime of daily laughter, intimacy, honesty, and love. Your disability will have the same value as all your other characteristics. I will do everything needed to make all desired accommodations to eliminate your disability as a barrier to living your life. You better not be perfect. I'm not.
