I am the type of person who tends to shy away from overly social scenes (clubbing and the likes) and as a result have been finding it somewhat of a pain trying to find someone that I can make a proper connection with.
So far, I have yet to figure out a suitable place to meet people. The norm seems to be to hang out at either bars or clubs, places of which I have never really felt at ease. I am far happier out of all that noise haha.
So I guess that would be why I am now starting to make an attempt online :p
It generally takes me a while to become fully comfortable with someone and therefore I am pretty much looking for someone who would be quite happy to swap messages back and forth for a bit to get to know each other... at least.. at first :).
Work Related:
I have just finished a degree in Computer Science and am now currently working on creating games for smart phones and tablets (first attempt at one is nearing completion!).
I am also working on and off on a construction site, doing bits and pieces here and there. Nothing too interesting just trying to make enough so that I can continue living :p .
My real aim is to end up working full time making my silly games but until I can get the first one up and running I'm having to work elsewhere to generate some funds ha-ha :(.
Leisure Activities:
With my spare time I have been known to gravitate towards online gaming and watching various TV series(Game of Thrones, Big Bang Theory, Dexter, Breaking Bad).
When feeling lazy, these tend to be my main sources of entertainment although they are far from being my only interests as I do find most things enjoyable once engaged in them :p
Some of my other main interests consist of:
Rock climbing. This is my version of the gym I suppose. Exercising in an enjoyable manner ha-ha :3
Swimming. Need to get back into this since coming back from holiday but bloody hell is hard to find a decently heated pool!
Animals. Have 3 cats that I play with and I often end up taking next doors dog out for walks around the park(up until recently before my neighbours moved house, dammit!).
Repairing things. For some reason I have fun trying to figure out how to repair things( mostly things that I have little knowledge about :P). To me, it feels like a great achievement. To finally fix something after 2hours of messing about :D... even though it would have most likely have been fixed within minutes by a professional. Hah!
And other things such as going out bowling or playing mini golf yadda yadda :p.
Music Taste:
The music I mainly like to listen to would be under the categories of rock and metal(clean vocals, not that growly screaming malarkey .
