I'm a 70ish retired nurse having been widowed 4yrs ago. I live a full life but miss that special person to share the everyday moments of life. I miss a hug in the morning for no reason... a kiss goodnight and a smile across the breakfast table when it's raining outside. I love the excitement of planning a holiday whether it be long haul or a w'end away. But doing it with that special person is magic. I'm a bit of a dare devil and did a Zip Wire run for charity last November .... it was amazing!! I enjoy music ... from the musicals especially Les Miserables. 60 and 70s( my era ) and some opera and classical . In my spare timeI enjoy fine dining, pub lunches or just a drink with good company. I also do some voluntary work.
