I've learnt in life that there are many people out there who think nothing of taking me for granted and will not hesitate in abusing my trust and generous as well as kind nature. Fortunately, there are some genuine people (and they know who they are!) who I value and am proud to know such people. These range from people (including family) who have known me from birth to the present day :)
