I prefer to be outside rather than in and prefer camping to watching TV on the weekends, or about any time. I am perfectly at home on a nature trail, campsite or out in the wilderness. If you have an issue with pitching a tent in the woods and building a fire for cooking, or learning how, that could be a problem. My favorite areas to camp are Starkey Park, Crews Lake Park and Cypress Glen depending on the other things going on and the time of year.
Exploring can be fun and fascinating. When they can be found i like looking through old structures. Industrial, commercial, residential, old homesteads...be careful of wells and cisterns with them though, and look, take pictures, and leave it like you found it...its history.
Some have also called me somewhat of a geeknerd. Science, especially physical sciences fascinate me. I am an avid fan of war-birds and love air shows. Getting my pilots licence is on my bucket list.
Throw me in a kitchen and I can whip up some pretty decent meals. My chicken Kiev stir fry has gotten several compliments as has my buffalo ranch chicken casserole. Other times it starts as whatever in a pan and i just keep adding stuff till it smells like food, lol.
