Moved up to the Midlands from London a good few years ago but so close to my partner that we didn't really need or nurture any friendships outside the family so when she passed away on New Years Eve 2013, apart from her son who lives nearby, I was left alone. You can only mope around the house for so long before you start going stir crazy so I've decided I would like to get out and about a bit and make some new friends and perhaps see where the next part of my life takes me. I have a motorhome which has seen a lot less use over the last couple of years but days, weekends or week's away in the countryside or at the beach are a wonderful break from the normal routine. I still work while I'm fit and able as that keeps me with an interest and an income but I'm looking to do less work and more fun over the next few years
