After going through 2 difficult years, as a widow the reality suddenly hit me. I am leading a life but not living it.
My aim for 2017 is to find a friend, a male companion to start looking for enjoyable time.
Going out to the theatre or cinema or concerts, visiting museums or art galleries or Expos, trying different foods and restaurants, travelling in the UK and abroad would be great and even better if that friend would like cruising.
I also like quiet days at home doing simple tasks such as cooking, gardening, watching good programmes on the TV or entertaining friends and family. I occasionally support my professional association with voluntary involvement regionally 4 times a year and at the national event once a year. I also undertake audits or assist operationally if asked.
Some days I feel my age and just want to put my feet up, and some other days I feel young and ready to walk miles! I appreciate that with a positive frame of mind, health remains decent and life overall happy.
Finding someone with similar aim and tastes would be fantastic and with any ‘chemistry’ would be a pleasant bonus.
To summarise, I am looking for companionship to initially have some fun days and if everything works out to enhancement the rest of my life.
