Like most people, I am a contradiction: inspired by nature (especially the ocean), learning to surf, love to ski, and usually up for a hike, but also content spending Saturdays watching football and knitting; I can be dry-witted and sarcastic, tend to tease a bit, and am really quite sweet (one of the greatest compliments I ever received was being told that I have the truest heart of anyone they've known). I'm always up for a good adventure. I'm also absolutely in love with my dog (and cats), sometimes like animals more than people, and think all animals want to be my friend (I want to be theirs; it's only natural that they'd want to be mine).
I'm looking for someone who is patient, intelligent, and can laugh at (and with) me and themselves. The ability to banter is imperative. I would love to find someone who is flexible yet strong.
Basically, I want someone who lets me be me - in all the various forms that takes. Acceptance of the quirks you find endearing come along with those you find annoying (although once I figure out what the latter are, I do - believe it or not - try to quash those to the best of my ability).
Oh, and I was told by someone to mention that I can drive a manual transmission. Apparently this is sexy to y'all? Just seems like plain fun to me. . .
