Almost everything I've done in my life is because I thought it would be challenging and wanted to prove that I could do it. When I'm passionate about something, I jump right in. I hope to find someone who gets just as passionate about things even if your passions are completely different than mine. There is a great deal of joy in watching someone's eyes light up when they talk about something that matters to them.
I am moderately everything. I'm too nerdy for non-nerds and not nerdy enough for nerds. Because of that, I can find something to share with many people.
I enjoy trying new things, and I'd like to get out more. I don't mind being taken out of my comfort zone. My first time going up Piestawa Peak took me out of my comfort zone. I was definitely not fit enough for the trek, but I was determined and my partner was patient so I did it. And loved it. When I've had the opportunity for another challenging hike, I've done it because it feels good.
For fun with friends, I enjoy playing Euro board games, having great discussions about current events, going walking, and doing something that involves music or theater.
I come from a family of musicians. Sadly, I don't play anything, but I do love to sing and would enjoy having someone to sing with. Music is very important to me.
I also care about social justice issues and one of my favorite things to do is discuss the news. Compatible values and politics is a must for me.
