Hey all,
I'm an outgoing, entrepreneurial, sci-fi loving guy tired of explaining the things I love and find absolutely awe-inspiring both in Sci-Fi universes as well as this one. Surprised to realize that I am 42, believing that I will wake up from this dream to find that I am still 25 as everyone likes to remind me, IS the age I act...(insult or compliment? Idk, I just take it as a compliment).
I have owned my own business since I was 26 and am lucky in that it allows for me to binge on books, movies and the occasional addicting video game...But, I do take earning seriously -- though if we could just get rid of money as they have in the 23rd century, I'm all for it...until then, work will still interrupt my more favorable activities, but only when I am absolutely needed (I have a good crew... a Number One, an O'Hara and a few Red Shirts).
I am a very independent guy, though this has been a change after my last LTR ended a couple years ago; since then and a lifetime of perpetual girlfriends, I focused on business growth, my own writing and keeping up with reading, viewing and playing, BUT, I think its high time I find someone with imagination, inspiration and determination to cruise with through this short, sweet time on Earth.
My job keeps me relatively fit, though I could get into the gym with this whole metabolism changing curse age has cast upon me. I do like to travel, but have curbed traveling somewhat because its not as much fun solo and everybody's married, so I'm a third wheel on trips and guy trips are getting rarer and rarer. I love dogs, but have not yet replaced my dearly departed canine buddy who passed 2 years ago...but soon I will rescue a puppy in need. I was a Marine and can figure anything out and pretty much solve issues in a way that MacGyver would envy. I am laid back most of the time, except when I'm not, which is when my employees do something stupid more than once, but all in all I am low key, low drag but not low I.Q.
