The path of friendship may be fraught with pleasures or perils, so let me gently take your hand (hold my left one, not my right)
and guide you safely along on the journey. Through darkened forests, cracking twigs underfoot (sshh you might disturb something!)
or treading soft and sandy beaches (footwear optional) into grey concrete havens (for a bit shop of window shopping and maybe a bite to eat)
we finally come to rest in my humble abode (watch your head for dangly bits) where another journey begins.
I will wander up your mountains (however steep or not they may be) and linger in your valleys of sweet waters.
When you cry tears of laughter or of sorrow I will lick them off your face.
I shall smell the odours of your skin (hope you had a shower) filling my nostrils with delights unknown
Then we shall embrace and melt into one (before I get your coat and take you home)
And so yet another journey may begin anew.
