Hi. I'm a recent cancer survivor, but that's all behind me now. However, I've struggled with my personal life due to severe arthritis in my knees and mobility issues. I currently use a walker which is why I was glad to find this site.
I love animals, gardening, fishing, boating, target shooting, flea markets, camp fires, and nature. I also go to the YMCA several days a week to swim and am committed to weight loss and healthy eating. I also like experimenting with healthy recipes that actually taste good. I'd love to find someone with a gentle, caring, compatible personality and similar interests.
A few other things about me. I have a Biology degree and am a 2nd generation Slavic American and speak a little Russian. I love most Eastern European food and also like Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, Italian, Central Asian, Mediterranean, and Mexican cuisine, all in moderation. I also enjoy vegetable gardening and seed saving as a hobby. I like spending time with friends and family but I'm not a party person and mostly enjoy small groups or home life.
I'm interested in friendship and dating with the possibility of it evolving into a long term relationship, marriage, etc.
