I have recently taken up archery as it is both a physical, and mental challenge, and it is something that can be done almost all year round (with the appropriate clothing). I enjoy coarse fishing, for the peace and solitude it provides, whilst trout fishing requires a little extra in terms of the mental challenge, skill level, and of course, catching a fish on a fly you have tied yourself, and returning it unharmed, unless that is you like fresh trout for dinner!
